Don't you just hate haters!?

This blog that I made was meant to be able to communicate with friends and family that may not live close by or for others to stay caught up with my life. Not for people at school to leave rude and nasty comments. Comments like, "Your music is gay, You're a loser, Why do you even think favorite photo Friday is important, or Your blog is stupid" are flat out mean and pointless. Being able to design, create, and uphold a blog is a hard thing to do and the fact that I'm interested in technology shows that I am spending my spare time doing something positive instead of wasting time leaving crude and unnecessary comments to bring someone else down. I don't care what any of you think of me or what I do, so you can just leave me alone. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!

For all of my blogger friends, don't worry, this doesn't concern you! :)

Hey girl, soooo sorry to hear that people have been posting rude comments on your incredibly wonderful blog.
Not all kids your age are as mature as you are, unfortunately.
But, don't worry. It gets better, and you already have the right attitude. What they say doesn't matter to you! And it shouldn't.
We LOVE your blog and I am always so eager to read what you've been up to.
XOXOXOXOXO

FYI.
some of us happen to love this blog, and it's creator. We look forward to the posts on it and all the comments posted on ours in return. I second Emmie, if you don't have anything nice to say, go play some place else and leave us to enjoy ourselves.

I love your blog Emmie and your maturity level shocks me on a daily basis. (and if you don't want to post this that is fine with me)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sadly, what you said about hating middle school is true for most kids.
Thank goodness high school is a lot better. As an 8th grade teacher I deal with the issues you have every day, with boys as well as girls. One thing I always tell them is that the cycle of hate is hard to break. In order to do your part you should not laugh when others do something to humiliate a classmate. Even if it's humorous, it's at someone else's expense. So, instead of laughing tell the rude person that what they said was wrong. I see kids who never get a positive remark from anyone because they are different; maybe not as smart or as good looking as the average kid. This does not mean they don't have feelings. It's very sad. Every day I try to say something kind to these kids and I know they love me for it. But it's not the same as getting a smile from someone their own age. I know the ones who are mean and when the time comes that they complain about someone...guess what??? Yep, I'm not too sympathetic!
Keep up the good work on your blog. We all love it. Ignore the meaness...what goes around comes around. People who are kind are rewarded with love.
love, Oma

Emmie, I just love reading your blog. It is rare to find a young lady so level headed, sweet, kind, in love with her family and grounded spiritually. Thank you so much for just being you and not letting the outside world influence you. My favorite quote "when someone shows you who they are, believe them". You will find your true friends this way.

I SO hear you - I hated junior high - for those that are smart, talented or whatever, it seems it's just a "door" for others to come on it and start picking - I just HATE that too. It makes me sad to see others being picked on because it hurt me SO much - there is not much I remember that I liked about Junior High - SO hang in there girl - High School's coming and then College and IT GETS BETTER!! AND I LOVE your blog - you are a sweetheart with a wonderful head on your shoulders - God has gifted you and you be proud of that!! Ok - enough said, there's my soapbox for the day!!!

I'm so sorry people have been jerks! Some middle schoolers are REALLY tough to be around! If you hadn't told me your grade, I never would have guessed it because you seem much more mature and well spoken. I really enjoy coming over to your blog, so try not to let a couple rude people ruin your bloggy fun!
